Buffalo Chicken Dip with Celery- try something new every day
Ready for Game Day? I’m so excited to be working with Pick ‘n Save on a tailgating recipe, because who can’t use new recipes for game day? You know what, the Buffalo Chicken Dip I came up with is something that you can use every day, not just on game day! If you are familiar with Pick ‘n Save, a Wisconsin grocery store that is everywhere in the Badger State.
Are you a sales shopper? I am! And every week, I look forward to looking through the Pick ‘n Save weekly ad to find sale items to put on my meal plan and on my grocery list. Shopping from a sales ad is one of the best ways to save money when grocery shopping. Use coupons? Pick ‘n Save is making it even easier for you to use coupons . Now you can use load-to-card coupons by visiting: http://www.picknsave.com/CardLoadableValues.aspx and loading digital coupons before you shop. What a way to save money!
I’m loving the look of the rebranded stores in the Milwaukee area and their “new every day” philosophy to include the very best selection and amazing quality of their fresh ingredients. Have you heard of Pick ‘n Save’s price lock? Look for items ending in .77… those are items that are in a price lock and will be at the same price for 77 straight days. Knowing what price your groceries are going to be ahead of time is a great thing when you are planning to match sales up with coupons. As an occasional coupon shopper, this is certainly something that helps me out when I’m making my coupon shopping lists.
I like to stock up on meat when it goes on sale, and Pick ‘n Save had boneless, skinless chicken breasts about half off: $1.99/pound. I bought one package to make Buffalo Chicken Dip with Celery and Chicken Salad Sandwiches, and another package to put in the freezer because there is always something else I can use chicken for.
Game Day recipes can be made on a budget with Pick ‘n Save’s New Every Day philosophy. I made Buffalo Chicken Dip with Celery for just about $5.00.
Ready to get started? This recipe is really quite easy. The first step is to boil the chicken and then chop it up. Easy peasy.
After chopping up the chicken, measure out the other ingredients: cheddar cheese, 8 ounces of softened cream cheese and hot sauce.
Mix all the ingredients except the celery together. The celery is for dipping! And let me tell you… an entire package a celery can move pretty quickly with this recipe.
See? Doesn’t this just look like a delectable bite of Buffalo Chicken Dip with Celery? Crunchy and spicy and oh so good.
Mix this Buffalo Chicken Dip up for your next tailgating event. It’s a great way to get your Game Day recipe on!
