Do you use Word Verification on your Blogger blog? It has its purposes, but it can also be really annoying. So… how do you get rid of it?
Here are five easy steps to change the life of your blog and increase your readership and comments, because if you want the truth (and I’m pretty sure you do) most readers don’t like Blogger word verification. If you have any doubt, check this out.
Now, on the Side Menu Bar, select Settings.
From Settings, select Posts and Comments.
Now, see where it says Show Word Verification? Click the drop down menu.
Now, set the drop down menu under Show Word Verification to no.
While you are in your Posts and Comments settings, be sure to check Comment Moderation and Who Can Comment. If you are worried about spam, it is a good idea to select sometimes on Comment Moderation. My comment moderation set up in such a way that if someone leaves a comment on a post older than 2 weeks, I have to approve the comment before it goes live. Keep in mind that even with Comment Moderation enabled this way, it has yet to filter out a spam comment. I just don’t get spam.
