I have been blogging since 2009, but decided to take blogging seriously in early 2012 after leaving a full-time job. I know firsthand the dedication and time it takes to write blog posts, grow a successful social media following, monetize a blog effectively, and increase blog page views consistently.
My blogging endeavors have provided extra income for my family, and in the span of one summer afforded us the luxury of: a week-long stay at a cabin, a couple weekend vacations to nearby attractions, and a 5-night Mother and Daughter vacation to New York City.
