Hot Fudge Sauce Recipe

easy chocolate sauce at home

Easy homemade Hot Fudge Sauce recipe that can be used to top desserts, fruit, and more. This is a very versatile chocolate sauce.

  1. Combine dry ingredients and mix together until smooth. I used a whisk so I could work out the tiny lumps in the cocoa powder. You could sift the cocoa power instead… but I prefer to just mix it. It comes out super smooth.
  2. Heat over medium high heat while stirring. It’s very important to keep an eye on this. When the mixture starts to boil, let it boil (while stirring!) for just two minutes, take off the heat, and then add the vanilla, butter and peanut butter. Pour into a glass jar or other container and store in the refrigerator.
  3. {Reminder… when pouring hot chocolate into glass jars, make sure your jar has been warmed up by running hot water over the outside or sitting in a sink with hot water. This will prevent it from breaking.}
