Tailgating in Wisconsin. Have you heard of it? I’m guessing you probably have. We’ve got the college football, professional football, and pro baseball all covered–and all big tailgating events.
My favorite way to tailgate when it’s cold outside is to gather with friends or family and serve up food and fun. One of my go-to snacks during tailgating time is a simple party mix that you really can’t go wrong with.
How do you tailgate?
At our last tailgate event- cheering on the Packers as we always do in this neck of the woods, we enjoyed a few snacks.
The recipe for a successful tailgate event doesn’t have to be complicated. You’ve got the main ingredient covered: friends and family.
I’ll wager a guess that you have the food part pretty well thought out too. Most people have a few go-to recipes that they love to whip up when its party time–and if there is any doubt, tailgate time is party time.
I love to put together a few hot dips, some chili, and you really can’t go wrong with meat. But, it seems like a lot of people are big snackers when it comes to tailgating and parties.
That’s why I love to throw together this quick and easy Tailgating Party Mix. It’s not complicated or over-indulgent. It’s simply good. And that isn’t going to get any complaints.
Equal parts pretzels, Chex mix, and M&M’s, so we’ve got salty and sweet covered and loads of crunch. I like to mix the three together because then you can just grab a handful, or load up a bowl or a cup and chow down.
I have to say… Tailgating with SOLO® Brand products makes tailgating so much easier. SOLO is more than cups, in case you didn’t know. They have Paper, Heavy Duty and Premium Strength products. Bowls and plates too! Not only that, but Not Every Cup is a SOLO cup. Did you know that only SOLO is Squared? They have Clear cups, Ultra cups – in different colors, and ‘It’s My Solo’ Cups – you can simply peel the label, make your mark by scratching your name, and let the fun begin!
