For any of you who have ever had the pleasure of visiting Door County, Wisconsin, you'll know what I'm talking about. Door County is such a relaxing break away from the everyday. My husband and I took off last weekend and camped for two nights in the breathtaking beauty that is Door County, Wisconsin. We enjoyed a bike ride in Peninsula State Park, ferry ride across part of Green Bay to Washington Island, meals at great restaurants, got out of the rain for bowling and drinks (not to mention cheese curds) at Sister Bay Bowl, and had the pleasure of strolling through the quaint shops of Fish Creek and surrounding areas.

Julie's Cafe- We enjoyed two amazing breakfasts here last weekend. We also visited last year with our kids and just had to go back. This place ROCKS! If you're ever in Door County it is a must do. They also have a motel, which had no vacancy (as did every other hotel or B&B) while we were there.
Lighthouse at Peninsula State park... This state park is the best I have ever been to, in any state. There are so many things to do and see, and if you love hiking or biking you absolutely cannot go wrong. Last year we rented bikes with the kids and biked all over the park and into Fish Creek. This year we took our bikes up to Door County with us and took a morning bike ride in the park. It was beautiful and fun, and boy did I discover I am entirely out of shape!
