In a small bowl, mix together the chili powder, oregano, cumin, garlic power, and salt.
Sprinkle half the seasoning mixture over each side of the steak.
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat, then add onions, peppers, and the remaining seasonings. Cook until onions are soft, about 2–3 minutes.
Push the veggies to one side of the pan, then add the steak.
Cook meat until desired done-ness, about 5–6 minutes each side.
Once steak has been cooked, remove from heat and allow to rest at least 5 minutes.
After steak has rested, cut up the steak into even slices.
Preheat oven to 400*F.
Line a baking sheet or pizza pan with the nacho chips.
Then add half the cheese on top of the chips.
Next, layer on the onions, peppers, sliced steak, and taco sauce.
Top with remaining cheese.
Bake in preheated oven 5–8 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly.
Serve warm with salsa, sour cream, and parsley as garnish.
Notes
You can also make these fajita nachos with chicken instead of steak. Just adjust the cooking time for the chicken, and follow the rest of the instructions as is.
