scrubbed and chopped into small cubes

canned cream of chicken soup

bacon
cooked and crumbled

cheddar cheese
shredded

green onions
optional, for garnish

Preheat oven to 400 F, grease an 8x8 or 9x9 baking dish; set aside
In a large bowl, stir together the chicken, potatoes, cream of chicken soup, bacon and half the cheese until fully mixed
Pour mixture into the prepared dish.
Cover top with cheese. Cover with aluminum foil, then bake in preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until all the chicken is cooked through
Remove the foil and bake an additional 20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the cheese is bubbly
Allow to sit for 10 minutes before serving so that it thickens slightly
Garnish with green onions if desired
