You better believe we love cooking up amazing food during the summer. As soon as it gets warmer, we’re heading outside to cook and starting up the grill.
French’s® Dijon Mustard probably isn’t the first thing that comes to mind when you toss around ideas for a good marinade. It might be hard to imagine, but this mustard is the BEST marinade and makes for an absolutely delicious grilled chicken.
We slathered a 1/3 cup of French’s® Dijon Mustard onto about a pound of boneless skinless chicken breasts and let it sit in the refrigerator for an hour. After that, we started up the charcoal grill and cooked the chicken on each side for approximately 20 minutes. As always when cooking chicken, use a meat thermometer to make sure that the chicken is cooked all the way through.

French’s® Dijon Mustard is the go to gourmet mustard that adds a touch of class and creativity to your cooking and makes the average sandwich or burger become something brilliant. And that grilled chicken…well, next time we’re cooking up grilled chicken kabobs with vegetables because we know we’re on to something amazing.
If you like grilling out as much as we do, you probably need some new ideas for what to cook on the grill. Let’s face it…the same ole thing can get a bit boring after a while.
We were excited by the flavor in this delicious chicken recipe…not to mention the gorgeous golden color.
We paired our Dijon Grilled Chicken up with an easy chopped Feta salad, which made for an all around healthy and low-calorie meal. It wasn’t planned that way, but it totally happened…and that is something to be excited about!
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/3 cup French's Dijon Mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
InstructionsSlather 1/3 cup French's Dijon Mustard over chicken breasts, coating both sides. Set aside in refrigerator for 1/2-1 hour to allow time to marinate. Grill on charcoal grill for 20 minutes per side, checking internal temperature with meat thermometer to check to see if done. Chicken can also be grilled on gas grill, but timing might need to be adjusted.
