Creamed Corn Recipe
This recipe is seriously so easy to make. I'm going to show you step by step how to make it, and you'll see how quickly you can make this recipe.
How to Make Creamed Corn
First, melt butter in a pan. This can be a skillet or a saucepan.
Then, add in ½ cup of finely chopped sweet onions. Using sweet onions is the key here, because it makes a nice compliment to the corn.
Saute the onions for a good 5 minutes, and then add in the flour.
Stir the onions and flour together while cooking for an additional couple of minutes.
Next, add in the liquids: milk and either vegetable or chicken broth. I used chicken broth.
Stir the milk and broth into the the onion and flour mixture so it's nice and smooth.
Now, cook the Birds Eye® Steamfresh Super Sweet Corn according to package instructions. It is so simple to cook because you pop the bag into the microwave and let it do it's job.
When the corn is cooked, add the corn to the pan with the other ingredients and stir to incorporate. Let it all cook together while the flavors meld.
Season with salt and pepper.
Then, scoop it into a serving bowl and enjoy.
