LOSING WEIGHT NEVER TASTED SO GREAT

Another wonderful reason this Deli Crab Salad is perfect for your New Years plate? The taste of course!

Tossed with just the right amount of creamy light mayo and sour cream, your taste buds will relish how well the crab meat combines with the pasta noodles and chopped green onions.

Not an onion fan? Just substitute chives for a more mellow flavor.

But we're not done yet. Next you'll be adding up to a teaspoon of mustard; a dash of onion powder (especially great if you've used chives); and salt and pepper to taste.

Combined, I prefer to leave this pasta salad overnight in the refrigerator so the flavors can blend. It's also wonderful to add celery if I'm craving a bit more crunch.

And plated over lettuce leaves, this looks so fancy you'll never realize you're even counting points!

TASTY WAYS TO CELEBRATE THE CHINESE NEW YEAR

And don't forget that Father Time doesn't only bring the celebration on January 1st!

Then think about cooking up this tasty Asian Rice Bowl or Gluten Free Chicken Fried Rice. Because while your resolutions may need to be narrowed down, we've got your plate covered!

Tips: Try Lemon Mayonnaise, which is kind of spicy, to add more zip. You could also use a sharp mustard.

I haven't measured it out exactly, but looking at the ingredients, I would estimate it to be approximately 1 cup.

If you're on Weight Watcher's Smart Points, each serving is 10 smart points. I'm finding that I have to enter most recipes into their recipe creator to get the smart points. I may find a substitute for the pasta. Any ideas?

Creamettes makes a 150 calorie pasta that does not taste any different ! It' would drop smart points by 2 ( 4 points per serving versus 6 ) So 8 points is not bad for a filling seafood pasta salad !

Made this yesterday for lunch today. I used plain Greek yogurt instead of sour cream and Hellman's Low Fat dressing (15 cal. per serving).
It is delicious!!! I added a little green pepper diced and it is just wonderful!
