    How to Make Mint Chip No-Churn Easy Homemade Ice Cream Step By Step

    Step #1: With a mixer, beat heavy whipping cream until thick.

    Step #3: Stir in the food coloring a drop at a time until you reach the desired shade of green.

    Step #4: Next, pour half the ice cream into a freezer-safe container. Top with half of the mint chips. Repeat with another layer and top with the remaining mint chips. You can also stir part of the mint chips in when you are folding in the other ingredients if you want the chips mixed in.

    Step #5: Freeze for 5-6 hours or overnight. When it is time to serve, remove from freezer and let sit on the counter to soften for 5-10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!

    Ingredients
     
     

    • 1 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
    • 2 cups cold heavy cream
    • ½ - 1 teaspoon mint extract to taste
    • Green food coloring gel works best, add a drop at a time until you reach the desired color
    • ¾ cup mint chips

    Instructions
